Ingredients
Wheat flour 1 cup (u can take maida)
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Alsi 1 tblspn (make powder n soak in 2 tblspn milk)
Khajur / dates 10-12 (soaked in 1/4 cup milk )
Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
Salt pinch off
Oil / butter 1/2 cup
Milk 1/2 cup
2 tblspn chopped nuts ( walnuts & almonds)
Method:-
Grease the cake mould n keep aside. Preheat oven at 180 degree for 10 mins. In between sieve thrice aata/maida, baking powder & baking soda, salt. Keep aside. Grind soaked khajur to a smooth paste. In a big bowl add softened butter n sugar whisk till light n fluffy. Add khajur paste, soaked alsi powder & milk. Whisk again till everything is combined. Add aata mixture in 2-3 batches n fold nicely. Add chopped nuts. Mix well. Pour batter into greased mould. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 mins. Let it cool n cut into pieces. Serve wid tea or coffee. :-) cake
